S.P.Jananathan, Director of movies like iyarkai, ee, peranmai was saying for the past few years that he is going to direct a movie with jiiva and jeyam ravi as heroes and the movie was titled as "Purampokku". But the movie was not started due to some reasons. Now he is restarting the movie but jiiva is replaced by vijay sethupathi the other hero is Jeyam ravi.
S.P.Jananathan usually avoids commercial elements in his movies and tries to create some social awareness through his creations. Hope Purampokku will be yet another milestone in Vijay Sethupathi's fast growing career.
