Surya and Karthi are brothers and both leading actors in kollywood. They did not have any clashes so far. But recently it seems that they are having a small dispute.
Gnanavel Raja is a relative of Surya,Karthi and he is running a production company in the name Studio Green. He is producing surya and karthi films and buying and marketing other movies too. It seems that he is concentrating more in getting offers for karthi. Venkarprabhu's Biryani and Rajesh's All in all alagu raja were scripts made for surya and it is gnanavel raja who is responsible for karthi being booked in both movies.
Surya is upset with this attitude of him and so he started a own production company in the name '2D entertainment' (2D-Diya,Dev). Singam 2 was released in some areas by 2D entertainment.
